![Jeepers, how is this nearly TWENTY YEARS AGO..?!
One of the things I truly loved about my decade plus at Cardiff City - the Ninian Park days in particular - was the freedom to explore new creative approaches.
Club media back then [in my opinion] had a way of being very copy and paste across club programmes, websites and more.
I found it too traditional and quite frankly a little dull, so wanted to apply new ideas from wider culture and entertainment, including [ahead of its time] our club podcasts [zero budget], our every changing, very non-tratitional match-day programme, working with mate @jamesfoxsongs on the FA Cup Final run and the reinvention of the City Kids membership – all to great feedback on our attention to detail and activations.
This off-the-wall Matchday activation of inviting Dirty Sanchez to Ninian Park for an infamous half-time activation was another... ok, extreme example. @pritchardswyd and the lads couldn't do enough for us and were great fun. Not the warmest day to be pelted with footballs with your trousers down too!!
In the case of Matthew especially, it's been awesome to see how he's made such an authentic, honest and raw transition to push mindfulness and healthy living.
